4) Standard To Modal Guitar Tuning

img-1

In this lesson I compare some standard guitar chords to their DADGAD equivalent.

It can be handy to know how to change from standard to modal tuning. It made things a lot easier for me when I was starting out.

The four example chords I use in this video are E major, E minor, A major & A minor.

The ‘DADGAD E chord’ and the ‘Standard E Chord’ only differ on the low D string.

The ‘DADGAD A Chord’ and the ‘Standard A Chord’ differ on the high A string and high D string.

If you have any questions at all just ask in the comments section.
